Why Boeing News from down Under

I found this cool space news from the Sunday Morning Herald of Sidney. Very good news for Boeing, but why did I only find it from a paper half way around the world? Well that a good question and it is a cool article. Enjoy the news of space.

seahawks, work and women

First, the Seahawk
PLEASE PLAY DEFENSE !!!, Well at least the Rams lost and we didn't get kicked to the wildcard group, but a win would be nice.
Second, Work
I've been doing this BIG as project and had the oversight group look it over last Thursday and they are getting cold feet before taking it to the big wigs. Well Tuesday the time bell rings and we will see what the higher ups think. This thing was like doing a master thesis and I hope someone in the food change appreciates the effort.
Third, Women - personal thoughts
Since the early Eights this Beautiful, Vivacious, Brillent petit blonde has come in and out of my life. Last year, she came back into my life. She lives across the county and is of course very success in.
Along the way I help in the early nighties I help a lady friend and she help me through a rough patch. She to is Bright, Sassy and Beautiful in you different way. Part of it was intimate, but not the major part. We both need comfort physical, mentally and more. Over time we have once in while taken care of carnal needs, we mesh very well that way, ok very well, damn well!, but it not the total relationship. In fact over time I have become friends with her family.
Well for the first time in over ten year the blonde may be coming to town, and now the friend may want to come at the same time. The blonde doesn't know of the other, but my friend know about the blonde, but don't have an idea we have been communicating again.
I care for both very (I love them Both) much and in other situations would happily spend my life with either, but they are very different people. Now I'm just hoping one doesn't make it or the time don't happen at the same time.
Its driving nuts! I very much want to see both but if it happen at the same time I'm toast, again with the blonde. Once in the eighties when I was full of myself I had a similar situation with her then. It hurt her and I never ment for it to happen.
Well lets hope for a Christmas mircle and it all work out.
Although my professional life is full and reasonable successful, my personal life has alway been feast or famine when it come to women.
I guess, today should be any different.
I'll keep you posted if you care.

Cartoon in very POOR TASTE

I just saw a story on KINGTV in seattle on the local cable (to lazy for a dish) and saw an VERY POOR TASTE cartoon from Saturdays Tacoma News Tribune.
I have never been in the military but have work as a contractor on bases here at home and over seas and that was in extremely veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy poor taste.
Now I understand the JACKASS who made this piece, but it is BAD BAD BAD.

Here is the page for the cartoon and the story from KINGTV website

TACOMA, Wash. - A military family is asking the Tacoma News Tribune to apologize for what they consider an offensive editorial cartoon.

The newspaper serves primarily Pierce County, which is home to Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base.

Copley News Service

The cartoon appeared on the opinion page this weekend. It showed flag-drapped caskets and the lyric to that classic song of holiday longing, "I'll be Home for Christmas."

“My first reaction was I started crying and just got really mad," said Cathy Painter, mother of a son who has just wrapped up a year-long tour of duty in Iraq.

“That could be my reality this Christmas and I don't need them reminding me of that," she said.

Painter's son, Army specialist and medic Brian Nation was also seeing red. He's about to be deployed again to Iraq. Both mother and son felt it was insensitive of the paper to run the cartoon in an area full of military families.

“I know people that have lost their lives over there and I thought it was very distasteful,” Nation said. "The editor should write an apology letter not only to people over there, but also to people back here who have lost loved ones in the war in Iraq."

At the News Tribune, the editor of the editorial page, Dave Seago, said the drawing was placed in the paper's weekly round-up of cartoons from across the country because the artist, Gary Markstein, made an important point.

"When I first saw it I said: 'Wow, that's powerful,'" he said. “Most of America is going about its business shopping and preparing for Christmas as always, while we have men fighting and dying overseas.”

At the newspaper's offices, managers admitted they received several complaints by phone and e-mail but expected some backlash.

"It certainly wasn't our intent nor the cartoonist's intent to be disrespectful as well," Seago said. But he said he would probably run the cartoon again.

Painter and Nation said they won't buy another News Tribune unless the paper issues an apology.

"We all know that's a reality of war -- yes, it's an ugly reminder -- but we don't need that thrown in our faces," Painter said.

Cartoonist Markstein, who drew the syndicated cartoon, lives in Milwaukee. It’s unclear how many papers it has appeared in and whether it's sparked controversy elsewhere.
